Nuclear education

As we all wait in the district to see if the plans for a 4th nuclear reactor in Salem really go forward, here's a tidbit in an AP story on the new PSEG education center for nuclear power:

At a ribbon-cutting ceremony Monday, U.S. Sen. Tom Carper, a Delaware Democrat; U.S. Rep. Frank LoBiondo, a New Jersey Republican; and NRC chairman Gregory Jaczko were on hand to praise the prospects of nuclear power and the energy center for explaining it.

Well, we already knew LoBiondo is pro-nuclear. I feel I should include the quote from Unplug Salem for balance:

An activist who opposes nuclear power sees it another way: "They for years have gone out to the schools in the area on propaganda missions," said Norm Cohen, the coordinator of the Unplug Salem campaign, who expects local opposition to PSEG adding a fourth reactor. "This way, they can have the schools come to them."
